My argument remains the same as every year. If we can avoid too many of these Shaun Lee situations throughout the year, I think we can win the division and compete. Aside from an atrocious defensive outing, we still made teams work for it. Here's to hoping that a lot of Gatorade, Bananas and Strectching stays in focus for the season. We want cake and champagne, not pulled hamstrings.

Since its common knowledge our defense can't get worse than last year, I'm predicting 10-6. Romo won't be required to carry 95% of the team on his back. I know we haven't had one since
Woodson left, but we REALLY NEED a defensive leader to emerge. Someone who gets the troops fired up and holds them accountable.

I'm not looking at the 11-5 prediction as much as I looked at what he said about the team and players.
We had, and will have many prediction threads, as well as players / team threads. But he made some interesting comments, for me anyway.

Like williams being back up RB over Randle. does this mean he thinks Dunbar is gone?
I disagree about Carter, I think Carter rebounds and plays decent, not spectacular but decent.

I don't think Orton is released, not as early as he says. They wait until more the regular season approaches, other QB's may go down, therefore better trade timing.
I think he's right, Mo rebounds, has a solid season, but I think Carr also does. Webb, yeah, I think he doesn't make it through the 1st cut down.
where does he get the mincey injury thing, oh well, his opinion, not mine. Matt johnson, well, I'm not predicting anything until he stays healthey through the entire camp.
I also think Selvie keeps up his play from last year. May not get as many sacks, but because he may need be accounted for, it frees up Lawrence, Melton, Mcclain, or anyone else on the DL. Not saying he demands the attention to be doubled teamed, but they will respect him more than last year.
