The Dallas Cowboys have a new linebacker.
This particular Hump Day has seen the Cowboys roster shift a little bit. Nolan Carroll is out by way of release, and Stephen Paea reportedly has chosen to retire. The Cowboys are on a bye, but they’re making moves. They’re bringing in linebacker Justin March-Lillard.
Cowboys will be adding linebacker Justin March-Lillard. Has played for Seahawks, Dolphins and Chiefs. He was an undrafted free agent in 2015

March-Lillard went undrafted in 2015 out of Akron and has bounced around a bit in the NFL. He’s been on injured reserve a few times, and the Cowboys are his fourth stop.
It’s interesting to wonder why the Cowboys would go out and add a linebacker at this point in time considering the losses of Carroll and Paea. Are they still worried about Sean Lee? Are they looking for more depth/another option behind Jaylon Smith? Are they worried about something with Damien Wilson (who was cleared of charges today)?
Only time will tell, but for now there’s a new linebacker in town.
