The Dallas cowboys have made an important decision about who to play at quarterback on Sunday according to a source. While Dak Prescott will still get the start, third-string backup Mark Sanchez will get the majority of the snaps according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan.

The Cowboys coaches have not yet revealed that plan to the media, but sources are reporting that Sanchez will see extensive action while Tony Romo will not play.
Sanchez played in one game this year, performing mop-up duty on November 6th when the Cowboys took care of the Cleveland Browns 35-10. The Cowboys seem determined not to risk injury to Romo, keeping him in reserve in case of emergency should something happen to Prescott during the playoff run.
With Tyron Smith ruled out of this game, the Cowboys are smart to limit the risk for Prescott. Emmett Cleary will likely get his first extended action as the Cowboys left tackle and that is not something you want to expose Prescott to for 60 minutes.
