The Super Bowl is tomorrow, get all your info today.
Sunday is the big day for the NFL. A champion will finally be crowned, and then everybody will officially be in offseason mode. As Cowboys fans we can watch and dream that someday we'll be back in the big game. This Super Bowl has a storyline that I love. A classic match-up of a killer defense against one of the best scoring offenses ever fielded. The Seahawks are devastating defensively and they can punch you with Marshawn Lynch on offense. The Broncos are a juggernaut scoring machine led by Peyton Manning. The Seahawks are, shall we say, a "handsy" defense in pass coverage, this game could turn on just how tight the officials decide to call it in the passing game.
Cowboys vs Broncos: Super Bowl XII Revisited

Once upon a time, the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos squared off in battle to determine who was the best in professional football. Let's take a look back at meeting of two of the greatest defenses of any era.
Cowboys vs Broncos: Super Bowl XII Revisited
The Cowboys connection with the Broncos and the Super Bowl goes way back. Many of you weren't even born when this game went down. Back on January 15th, 1978, the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos met in Super Bowl 12. The Cowboys won that game 27-10. The big story then was that Craig Morton was the starter for Denver and had started the Cowboys in Super Bowl V. He became the first QB to start for two different teams in the Super Bowl. That game was also the first domed Super Bowl (in New Orleans at the Superdome), and was also the first night Super Bowl. If you want to read a contemporary account of the game from Sports Illustrated, go here.
The Broncos will be playing in their seventh Super Bowl on Sunday, one behind the Cowboys and the Steelers with eight appearances. Denver is 2-4 in Super Bowls.
The Seahawks and the Cowboys have no direct Super Bowl history. They do have one playoff game; you might remember that one, the Bobble game. Here's how ESPN opened up their recap of that NFC Wild Card game in 2007.
All Tony Romo had to do was put the ball down and let Martin Gramatica make an easy kick -- just 19 yards, even closer than an extra point. That's where it all slipped away from the Dallas Cowboys. The Pro Bowl quarterback who saved their season ended it, too.
Ah yes. But how about a happier memory. The Seahawks may not have played the Cowboys in a Super Bowl, but they sure helped send them there.
1977: The Seahawks trade the second pick in the NFL Draft to the Cowboys, who select running back Tony Dorsett. In exchange, the Seahawks get the Cowboys’ first-round pick, which they used to select offensive lineman Steve August; and three second-round picks – which became offensive lineman Tom Lynch and linebacker Terry Beeson. Beeson would lead the team in tackles for three consecutive seasons (1977-79), including a still-franchise record 153 in 1978. August started 90 games from 1977-84.
They got some okay players, we got Tony Dorsett. That's a win.
