Utterly false. That is an excellent offense playing at a low tempo.

Scoring the most points is unimportant. Scoring more points than the opponent is - there is great value in aiding your defense.

It is simply not an excellent offense when you've scored 5 touchdowns via the run in 2011 and 8 touchdowns via the run in 2012. The passing game may be considered excellent - but the running game is so below average that as a whole - this offense cannot be considered excellent. We were second to last in running yards per game last year with an average below 80 yards rushing (per game) - that....quite frankly sucks. . . . . .02

True, the hardest area of the field to score from is the redzone and when you can't run it makes scoring even more difficult. We could also give ourselfs more chances by actually taking the ball away from the other team, something we have not been very good at.
