Teams are interested in Kris Richard.
One of the biggest reasons for the success that the Dallas Cowboys have had this season has been an addition that they made over the offseason. We’re obviously talking about secondary coach and pseudo defensive coordinator Kris Richard.
Richard has helped turn the Cowboys defense into one of the NFL’s better units, and he helped mold Byron Jones into a Pro Bowl cornerback during his first season at the position. This effort didn’t go unnoticed by the league as a whole and as a result Richard is officially in the mix for head coaching opportunities. The New York Jets have their eyes on him.

Head coaching jobs don’t come around very often so it’s fair to assume Richard will want to explore this one. When you consider what the Jets have to offer they do have a young and promising quarterback in Sam Darnold, plus one of the NFL’s better safeties of the future in Jamal Adams. Surely Kris is interested.
The Cowboys are in the playoffs so all of this likely won’t be solved for (hopefully) a few weeks. For now we know though that Richard is going to be the apple of many eyes, including the eyes in the Big Apple.
