The relevant paragraphs concern three separate incidents that occurred in July of last year. The league contends they interviewed the accuser and found her statements credible. They also reviewed photographic evidence and text messages from the victim that further substantiated their belief that Elliott had been involved in physical confrontations with the accuser.

Separately, the NFL did not base the suspension on the St. Patrick’s Day incident, but did note that this showed a lack of respect for women. They also noted that any further incidents like this in the future could result in more suspensions or potential banishment from the league.
