It may look like there's not much to play for in Week 17, but a lot of things are still undecided heading into the regular season finale.
The playoff field is essentially set in the NFC, though somewhat surprisingly, the Cowboys are the only team to have already won its division. Four teams have clinched at least a playoff spot (Arizona, Detroit, Green Bay, and Seattle), and the final NFC playoff participant will be the winner of the Falcons-Panthers game.
Outside of the NFC South winner (locked in as the fourth seed), the remaining playoff teams are all still jockeying for position. For the Cowboys, there is still a (very remote) chance of getting a bye week, and if that doesn't happen, they are locked in as the third seed.
But lots of other things remain to be decided this week. Who'll be the 12 playoff teams, who gets the number one draft pick, can any favorite gain separation in the MVP race, can DeMarco Murray crack Emmitt Smith's record, and will the Broncos manage to back out of a first-round bye?
We'll see how all of that plays out. For now, here are our picks for Week 17, 2014.
