Before you get all jolly about his superman-like performance on sunday...

his three sacks came by:

1 - a fullback trying to block him.

2 - a TE blocking him, marginally a coverage sack.

3 - a tackle blocking him that was definetely a coverage sack.

pretty sure there wasn't a single time Ware didn't face a O-tackle...if not a double team last night.

SD clearly does a better job of isolating him with mismatches.

At this point I don't even care if the guy can get more sacks than Ware. He's already been busted for using the juice, and I don't want a guy like that on my team anyway. Immature dumb guys like him are the kinds who turn this first suspension into a 1 year suspension or even worse. He thinks way too much of himself. I personally prefer the players we have on defense, who don't try to bring so much attention to themselves. We have a defense full of highly talented players who see themselves as a unit, and in the long run, that will be better for us.

I dont need to bash Merriman to feel good about Ware. Both are good. Honestly, Merriman has gotten more hype from day one, and with his highlite style play, he deserves it.
