Last week, I noticed a lot of Giants fans were critical of Coughlin's decision to play his starters in what many had considered to be a meaningless game against the Patriots. On the flip side of this observation, Bucs players (Garcia in particuliar) were also critical of Gruden's decision to rest most of his players over the last two weeks of the regular season. Looking at this game today, it's pretty easy to figure out which coach had made the right decision. One could argue that the Giants were the better team to start with, but factoring in the key injuries they sufferred late in the season compounded by the fact that the Giants have underperformed all season and that they would be playing in Tampa, I thought that each team would be pretty evenly matched today.

Clearly I was wrong...

I dont think resting Garcia had anything to do with it. The pass rush of the Giants has just been on his ace all night.

and we had a similar situation with Seattle and Washington.

Too much is made of resting vs.playing starters.

Should be a good game. The Skins, Eagles and Giants are all good rivals, but there's been some real animosity the last few times we played the G-men.

T.Aikman is not unbiased towards The Dallas Cowboys . He definitely has something against them.

He makes me ill lately.

I disagree. Playing with your starters in any meaningless game going into the playoffs is a risk.
