“If you wanna a great defense you have to have a team full of goons, but you gotta have to have the right zookeeper that is the D coordinator. Meaning he can’t be afraid of those personalities and those guys that are on the edge because the greatest defenses.....I’m sure Brian can attest to it... you got to have a couples guys who have a couple of screws loose that you have to reign them back in. It is easier to reign them back in then it is to get the poker and say let’s go play hard. And so, I like the personality now does Dan Quinn have the personality control all that and not have them play silly football. Get them to play at the line, not over the line.” Bucky Brooks

Micah Parsons, Keanu Neal, Jabril Cox, Kelvin Joseph, Osa Odighizuwa- we have some defenders now that can hit, instill fear in opposing ballcarriers, and go all out on every snap.

I love Dan Quinn's culture change.

This has been my argument for these guys since draft weekend..

If you want an aggressive, physical, and attacking style defense that plays with swagger, you have to have guys on defense who have that persona.

Now we have some guys with that attitude. The question is can they bring it to the field as a cohesive unit. That's the million dollar question.

I like players who play hard, aggressive and nasty within the rules on the field
It’s the off field stuff that worries me with some

This is the problem. You can't have one without the other..it doesn't work that way..you either want bad boys or you don't

Were not tgere yet lol. I have to see it to believe it but I only saw Diggs and Wilson and I'll throw Gregory a bone too as dawgs on the team. Antwan had the personality but not the game to match. Everybody else nah. Dlaw was a dawg until he got paid lol

Parsons is going to snatch the leadership role from dlaw and Jaylon in TC mark my words
I can see them trying to Alpha all over him because they're threatened and it doesn't work.

I don't want him to cow down to the Hot Boyz dance revue.

I will be very disheartened if I start seeing pics of them all together with the # sign.
I won't be completely surprised either.

as Elvis once said..."if i was normal...i wouldn't be here".

lotta truth in that.
you need a little crazy to reach the summit.
on some of Coach Landry's best teams...he had several who weren't...as Elvis said...normal.

Maybe you need to have a screw loose to play this game on the biggest stage. It's a violent sport that takes it's toll on your body. The object is to control another individual who may be just as talented as you are with his own idea of how this physical altercation will play out. It comes down to a test of will, how far are you willing to push yourself. In football maybe the sweet spot between control and out of control is called optimum performance.

Call them what you want but this team could certainly use a Charles Haley and a Eric Williams on both sides of the ball.
