I think the author of this article just has to change the date and the names and it's valid. It's been over a decade we've heard this from opposing teams
:hammer:
I remember Ray Lewis saying the very same thing.
It's totally embarrassing, and we simply don't know how to rectify it or simply don't care to.

If I'm big Mike and my rearend is heating up in the skillet, I'm demanding to take over the Offense.
Kellen is clearly playing checkers in a chess league. The wonder boy experiment is over Jerry, you swung and missed...again
I don't think McCarthy really cares enough to take over playcalling. He lied to get the job. He got his money. He'll still get his money after he's gone. He's good. He was kneecapped from the start by having to keep Moore. He never stood a chance. He was just the speed bump to the Jones finally handling control to Sean Payton, only temporarily though, until they get good and the Jones will want the credit again.

It's almost like hiring OCs to have them train into the position isn't the best idea. But hey, third time will be the charm.

No real news here-every team game plans and watches tape.
But knowing that, good coaches adjust, throw in different wrinkles. And if a team is unprepared, good teams continue what works until the opposition can stop them.
The Bucs knew we would abandon the run.
We did so EVEN THOUGH ZEKE WAS HAVING SUCCESS!

Devin White said:
Last year we learned they really weren't going to commit to the run game and the runs they did, they were going to try to get outside and not run into the interior.

"But most of the [passing] game was quick-game - a lot of curls, a lot of hitches, a lot of slants. We kind of knew that going in so we were able to attack it."

Kellen gets in his mind that Dak needs to be in a shoot-out with TOM "THE GOAT" BRADY ( :lmao2:) and the game, essentially, is over.
Dak had a deer-in-the-headlines look on his face all game.
I thought he was on medication because he seriously looked like his mind wasn't in the game.
It literally looked like Martin Short stepping into the Octagon with Khabib Nurmagomedov then wondering via his eyes "What the freak did I get myself into?"

"I think it was just great preparation," said White following the 19-3 victory at AT&T Stadium. "This time going into the game already having film against them against us and knowing how they like to attack us. So I think we were able to put together a better game plan than last year. … Last year we learned they really weren't going to commit to the run game and the runs they did, they were going to try to get outside and not run into the interior.

I was shocked he didn't take over in the Niner game last year.
Moore was in over his head, and was calling the same plays over and over (and expecting different results)
If you happened to see that Kurt Warner video, it was eye opening.
Horrible playcalling and Dak not making simple reads.
With his butt on the line, and being an offensive coach, I couldn't believe MM didn't take over.

Because our QB is so physically and mentally limited, the playcaller has limited options.
This is where I'm at too. I'm not saying Moore is perfect, but people slam the QB and our WR talent and then want to hammer on Moore as well. Sure, it could be a double-edged sword, but I'm sure things could be better if he had tools to work with. You might be able to hammer a nail with the end of a screwdriver, but it sure makes the job easier when you have an actual hammer.

that's on Jerry and his annointed Genius boy as the OC.

McCarthy said it in a passive aggressive way last year too, that he has no say in the offensive game planning.
