By the terms of his two-year contract with Tampa Bay, Jeff Garcia will reportedly make $5 million in 2007 and up to $14.5 million total.
The base values of his and Chris Simms' deals are reportedly "identical." Garcia is believed to have escalators in his contract that are based on winning the starting job and the Bucs making the playoffs.

lol garcia reportedly asked the raiders not to draft a qb with the first pick and he was theirs.

They are gona probally try to make a trade with the Houston Texans or they actually think he may have a chance starting over Garcia and Simms. If he dosen't get they starting job he probally will retire.

Philthy is really up the creek now. When McFlab does his annual el foldo impression, they will not have anyone as good as Garcia to bail them out.

Plummer retired.

This is a good deal for them. he fits Grudens offense and Simms is about as inspiring as Grossman is. Plus once McNabb gets hurt again this year Garcia wont bail them out again.

That's because McVomit does not know how to share the spotlight! He's got to be coddled like a freaking lap dog, otherwise he cannot handle the pressure.

Mcsoup is coming off a pretty good injury, and there is no doubt that he will not be the same as he was...and he WILL get hurt again...then what?

Sounds good to me...they want a lapdog running the show...woof, woof!

:laugh2:

Actually, I'm confident that A.J. Feely will be a good backup if that happens.
