Cole Beasley looks like his old days in Dallas a reliable safety valve.

That penalty was an absolute H.S. call. Hitting a defenseless receiver. Keep in mind this penalty is only called on hard hits. I really do believe the NFL is trying to remove hard hits from the game. They're 90% there because we rarely see them anymore. But in my opinion, anytime a WR is catching a pass over the middle and you have a shot at him, you take that shot every time. Let them throw the flag. There really are no alternatives.

Agree with your assessment of those types of penalties. Same with QB’s if you happen to take a QB down low it’s a penalty if you go high it’s a penalty .

I was waiting on a Gregory penalty but was happy his takedowns of Darnold didn’t get the refs upset at something . 94 is definitely on the radar screen of the stripes.

Let me give you a sobering thought. I read a book written by a referee. I don't remember the name of it since it was about 10-15 years ago. But the ref was looking for penalties to call as if it was a badge of honor. That shocked me.
