Buh-bye Barber and Choice... Hello Deangelo?

I never want retread RBs ever again. Go RB in the Draft over FA or trade unless it is a guy who is top 2 in the NFL and young, meaning under 30.

Have you heard of a little thing called THE SALARY CAP..

exactley this clown will be the first to then cry that we have no o-line or secondary.

If Dallas makes moves with the RB's I would much rather see them deal Barber and Choice and draft Emmitt 2.0, Mark Ingram, somehow.

FIFY.

Recent years have proven that there's no such thing as a franchise back it seems. Unless you are a super blue-chip prospect named Peterson or McFadden, a team won't spend a high pick on you unless you're in Buffalo.

doubt very much that we give up on Choice -- he is super cheap and going into what is likely a contract year (dependig on the CBA)

I'd agree -- save for the odd guy like Michael Turner who never got to show anything b/c he was behind such a stud

Barber - see ya! Cut his arse!

Choice? Could we get the 4th back for him??

Felix + Deangelo = EXPLOSIVE!!

The best I could see the Cowboys getting for Choice is a 5th. Barber is a goner and I wouldn't be surprised if Choice is dealt either for a pick or a player.

He wouldn't be a good compliment to Felix he needs a big power back who can move the pile to compliment him.

If the Cowboys don't deal Choice this offseason they'll end up having to release him when his contract is up.

You can hit on a back anywhere in the draft so I would look for a big physical RB this April.

why? why should we spend precious cap dollars on another RB? didn't we draft Felix Jones? and now is this an admission that jones pick was a waste?

and its been proven you don't need great RBs to succeed and win the NFL.

I would rather spend money on OL and DL.

Why do people want a 27 year old running back when you don't have a line that run blocks well? Why not just draft a back that is young and will be here for at least 5 to 7 years if not more? You can't sign each and every player that's out there.

Williams is a top talent in my opinion but I would still prefer to go via the draft route.

this is SOS - shiney object syndrome. recognize the name, suddenly he has value beyond measure.

I like Williams, no doubt, but there is no reason to trade for or sign high priced FA at runningback.

Get them in the draft.

Or Dallas.

IM not saying that i want DeAngelo Williams in Dallas, but id say Williams has had to run behind a horrible OL his whole career and still was very good. Something the RBs in Dallas cant do
