Lots of folks want either Prince or Peterson but the best way to build our Team under Garrett is the way our House was built from the foundation up. I use to be the one always wanting the flashy picks but have come to realize the best Teams in the NFL: Steelers, Ravens and etc. were built first in the trenches and a strong base than filled the rest. We need to be looking OL or DL early in this Draft. I still like my personel Mock Draft which has the Boyz trading down for Gabe Carimi, Tackle Wisconsin than trading back up in the 2nd Round for Steve Weisnewski, Center Penn State. Build the base and it will come.

The Steelers and Ravens O-line have looked like trash all year.

You can probably trade to 15 and take Camiri, pick up a 3rd and take Wiz right where you are in R2. Maybe even trade down a bit in R2 and get him there

That makes sense.

Are you sold yet on Camiri though? I'm on the fence still.

He would be a pretty safe pick IMO. I think hes just good enough to be a starter and one youre generally satisfied with.

I like what he did against Heyward. He was great against Miami.

One nice I like about Carimi is he doesnt just try and push his man past the QB. He does a nice job of cutting off their angle and keeping his man a pretty safe distance away from the QB. Something Romo hasnt really had.

Id rather jump back up in R1 and get him then if we have a shot at PP or Quinn at 9.

depending on how camiri works out at the combine...idk if he gets picked before the 20's unless a team with a lefty at QB takes him to man the RT spot.

Trade down from 9 to about 15 and gain a 2nd and 5th.
Trade from 15 to about 22 and gain another 2nd and 5th.
Trade a 2nd for a 3rd and 4th

1-OT Derek Sherrod - Miss St
2-CB Jimmy Smith - Colorado
2-OG Benjamin Ijalana - Villanova
3-ILB Quan Sturdivant - UNC
3-SS Kenny Tate - Maryland
4-DT Jarvis Jenkins - Clemson
4-C James Kirkpatrick - TCU
5-CB Ryan Jones - NW Missouri St
5-FS Mark LeGree - Appalachian St.
5-DE Kheeston Randall - Texas
6-WR Cecil Shorts III - Mount Union
7-OT Darius Morris - Temple

I agree, build through the lines. But you can't build the entire line in one draft. Integral FA signings:

OG Logan Mankins/Harvey Dahl
DL Shaun Rodgers/Richard Seymour/Shaun Ellis
DB Nnamdi Asomugha/OJ Atogwe

Trade: Spencer for a 2nd, Leonard Davis for a 5th

Draft best player, not for need:

1) OLB Robert Quinn, North Carolina - 6'5 270 4.5
2a) OL Marcus Cannon, TCU, 6'5 350
2b) DL Muhammad Wilkerson, Temple, 6'5 305 5.0 OR
DL Marvin Austin, North Carolina, 6'3 310 4.8
3) ILB Mark Herzlich, Boston College, 6'4 240 4.7 OR
ILB Bruce Carter, North Carolina, 6'3 235 4.4
4) SS Ahmad Black, Florida, 5'9 195 4.4
5a) DE Greg Romeus, Pittsburg, 6'5 280 4.7
5b) FS Mark LeGree, Appalachian State, 6'0 200 4.5
6) FB/H-Back Charles Clay, Tulsa, 6'3 240 4.6
7) C Brandon Fusco, Slippery Rock, 6'4 300
