Bullet Points of what needs to happen in '09

1- Replace Pac-Man with Scandrick. Scandrick has shown me the most of the new guys in our secondary and has none of the BS that Pac-Man has. That experiment has been a total failure.

2- Find a Strong Safety to replace Roy Williams. Henry is just too damn slow back there.

3- Bring in some freaking discipline. It's incredibly clear that this team lacks discipline. Where are the coaches that get in people's faces and rip 'em to shreds when they do stupid stuff?

4- Fix the O-Line. We MUST draft some talent on the line. Things went to Hell when Kozier went down. Proctor is clearly not an NFL caliber player right now. Holland was serviceable, but that's it.

Jerry needs to hire a GM and step away.

The GM needs to fire WP and start a new culture at the Ranch. Those players that refuse to buy into the new direction need to go.

Jerry won't resign so get over that.

Get rid of Wade. If a new HC wants to keep Garrett, great. If not, get rid of him, too.

Bruce Read gets fired before my head hits the pillow. He's been THAT bad.

It's hard to gauge Campo because the injuries have been catastrophic in the secondary, but that department needs MASSIVE coaching. Too many stars with too little tackling skills.

The big point is...there seems to be a lot of TALENT but we've underachieved in a big, big way. The ultimate accountability rests with Jerry, but that isn't going to change.

Until that happens, and it ain't happening, the Dallas Cowboys aren't going anywhere except home come playoff time. And that includes the times when they will make the playoffs.

I'm going to get ripped for saying this, but Dallas would be better off if they cut all cancers from the team. PacMan and Owens both need to go. Yes Owens signed a big time contract, but he really is immature and mentally weak and that rubs off on his teammates. Owens does not get in trouble with law, but he *****es and moans when he doesn't get the ball and stops running his routes at full speed. By cutting Owens, the rest of the team would be put on notice and people like Romo, Hamlin, and Roy Williams the WR will have no choice but to be more disciplined.

Owens is a problem but he was also one of the only ones who you could say did not give up or quit today too. I think we need to look long and hard at them FIRST.
