I'm not talking about Bledsoe, though I still think the season will reveal him as limited, after teams figure out what Dallas is doing. But I'm talking about our head coach who invented the term. Way too conservative. Parcells is a great disciplinarian, a great teacher of basic, hard nosed football, but I have always hated his run, run, dink, dink, punt, play defense philosophy. I think this whether we win or lose (game still not over).

Parcells wasn't calling the plays dude.

Respectfully, if you don't think Payton calls a game according to the Parcell's philosophy, then you haven't noticed how Parcells is a control freak. I'm ok with the control freak part, I'm glad we have a head coach who is really the head coach, I just hate his over conservative nature.

You should go to bed, too.

The running game wasnt there that was evident all game I dont understand why they didnt throw the ball more to soften the defense for JJ. It seemed like most of Bledsoe's completions where 5 yards or less that isnt going to cut it. Where was the playaction pass, I can only remember one attempt to play action.

Payton called the plays and did the exact same thing he got fired for in NY : too conservative and not enough TD's.

I am sorry, but this is not why we lost the game.

We lost the game because we broke down defensively and gave up 2 bombs for 14 points in no time at all. That was just inexcusable.

BP can over turn any play Sean calls, so that's bullsh1$.
It was conservative, and BP never did a dam* thing about it.

Champs, the reason why I say this lost the game is not because what you say isn't true. What you say IS true. Our defense broke down. Why I hate that philosophy is that it leaves you SUBJECT to that kind of breakdown. It leaves little room for error. This game should have been a blow out in our favor.

Agreed. That is why Parcells didn't have a look of disgust like he does when a player screws up. He looked totally confused out there during the last few minutes. He was up to his neck in play calling and he knew it.

Also, Drew and his rocker arm looked like it ran out of gas in the 4th quarter. This is very alarming to me and it should alarm all of us as well.

The boys were afraid of the blitz and the Skins rarely did it.......we were afraid on offence.....with Julius...Witten....Allen,Page,Rivera...KJ,Glen,Crayton and Price and the almighty Drew Bledsoe....all those talented players.....and we were still afraid....go figure.

:hammer: I'm so sick of us being afraid of good teams, or good defenses.

The reason the Cowboys won in the nineties, was that they attacked no matter who you were.

The Cowboys were play-calling scared, and it's sick.

We missed an important field goal, and we sat on the clock for 2 quarters instead of putting it away.

We continuously make stupid *** penalties on offense that kill drives, and i'm sick of it.
