ya think that taking Bush on the next pick would be a good risk for the cowboys, we already got a couple of good RB so there would be no rush (pun) to get him on the field to soon, he was a big time time player before his injury!

I honestly think it'd be a huge waste of a draft pick

Jones and MBIII are both better than he is anyway, and if they arnt, we get a shot at McFadden in 2008...

I like Bush, but I'd rather see us address corner with Tanard Jackson or WR with Allison.

Again we have no need for a WR. I can see us getting Jackson though. Bush wouldn't be a bad pick because I think he'll be the 2nd best RB in this draft when all is said and done.

Every time someone starts one of these threads the guy goes right before we pick.

That's okay though because I don't really want him, though I would take him.

No risk, no reward.

If he's still on the board on our pick, I think it is a no-brainer. He gets a red-shirt year. If Jones finally proves to be the man then we can trade either Barber or Bush next year. If Jones proves to be a JAG, then we go forth with Bush and Barber.

We could still possibly move up in the 4th round if we want Solilai bad - I guess that'll depend on what Wade Phillips thinks of Stanley and Ratliff.

Are these 2nd and 3rd tier receivers you speak of better than Hurd, Austin and Crayton? We haven't ever tested Hurd and Austin yet. Maybe the coaches see what they can't do in practice and we'll take a WR. I don't think the WRs left have better measurables than the ones we already have.

I would like more OL, DT and CBs.

Hostile who's your fav QB that's left?
1. Jordan Palmer, UTEP
2. Jared Zabransky, Boise State
3. Jeff Rowe, Nevada
4. Troy Smith, Ohio State
5. Chris Leak, Florida
6. Tyler Palko, Pittsburgh
7. Matt Moore, Oregon State
8. Toby Korrodi, Central Missouri
9. Isaiah Stanback, Washington
10. Juston Rascati, James Madison

I would be thrilled with any of the top 6. I could live with any of the others.

If we're really gonna make a run at McFadden, as it looks right now... Go Jackson please.

EDIT: I'm rethinking this... Bush is a big bruising back when healthy. Could you imagine a backfield of a healthy Bush and a McFadden??

Actually, I forgot about Guiterrez. I'd put him on that list near 6.

Even though I was pushing for this pick last night, I watched some highlights of him later last night, and was really unimpressed with his speed, and that was even pre-injury.

With that extra pick next year, I think we can add an impact RB next year if JJ flunks out.

They also have Fargas and their short yard guy Crockett. I think our old friend Rashard Lee plays for them too.

Should I start one on Mason Crosby then?

I would puke if we took him.....
