I wasn't alive for the Landry Era, but it seems that Garrett carries a business-like approach to himself similar to how Landry did. This is how I interpreted the press conference yesterday.
It didn't seem like a celebration at all did it?
Garrett seemed like he knew he was the coach since he won @ the Giants back in November. I love how he finished his speech with, "But it's time to go to work."
He understands this isn't a time to celebrate, but a time to work hard and get the Cowboys back to where they're supposed to be.
I'm sold on Garrett. Now it's time to get good coaches around him. Let's start with Todd Bowles.
