But Dak needs more weapons on offense

What's funny is you believe Dak would produce the same results if he were on that team.
Coach Reid would not have Dak as a starter, he would be the backup. See, he knows real QB play when he sees it, unlike our owner JJ that dug himself a hole with this QB.

Just so we are clear the Cowboys last year paid:
19M for Dak
18M for Zeke
17.5M for Tyron Smith

So if the goofballs stop equating money poorly spent with good offensive talent that would be a nice start.

Only 2 other offensive players made over 4.7M
Zack and Dalton.

You guys just post stupid stuff to do so.

Andy Reid started Alex Smith over PM5 year 1. Alex is a lot like Dak.
He also started Donovan McNabb for years.

There is one Pat Mahomes and Reid was smart enough to draft him and now he has the best player in the NFL.

Stupid stuff is starting a QB for coming on eight years and nothing to show for it but injuries, Int's and game losses when it matters, and you guys eat that stupid stuff up.

McNabb at least got to a SB and Alex went to one also. There is your stupid stuff alright.

I can't work out whether you just like idiotic arguments or whether you are just not that smart.

Dak had more weapons than most last season. Most QBs would love a solid Oline, an All Pro RB (Pollard), an All Pro WR (CeeDee), plus a very solid TE in Shultz. Plus solid players in Zeke, Gallup, Ferguson, Hilton and Brown.

How many weapons do you actually think you can give a QB that is taking 25% of your entire cap?!!!

No he didn't. His no 2 receiver was the 3rd worst separator in the league last year. Noah Brown is a special teamer and was the worst separator. Zeke has been garbage for 2.5 seasons now. We have a bottom 5 skill unit and it showed. Dalton Scholtz was given a big contract due to need and not talent. To give top rb contract to anyone they better be generational and Zeke never even touched that. For 2-3 years he had by far the best blocking in the league and to be honest didn't do nothing ground breaking with it.

Cowboys offense accounted for 62% of the cap in 2022. All the money is on offense, so ask yourself who's fault is it they don’t have ballers on that side of the ball.

RB is awful the 50% of the time Zeke is on the field. WR is really only one guy. TE is good underneath but offers nothing down the field.

In their infinite wisdom they let their skill positions atrophy around a bad QB.

lmao...
no comment.

He would. Most top 10 QBs would. What don't you understand about football?
What don't you understand about lack of elite talent, something your boy doesn't have.

Personal attacks aren’t cool, dude. Let’s respect each other. This gets silly.

So stupid and naive. Tell me the salary cap hit for the WR’s last year.

You look it up yourself and post the numbers.
Why you ask someone to do your homework? Coconut head.

Oh yeah, go eat some worms then!

The only people that think they are getting attacked personally is their problem if they take it that way.

There's no doubt that Dak sorely needs a #2 receiver, since Michael Gallup wasn't himself last year. Hopefully, he'll be back with a vengeance. There's also a good chance that we'll acquire some veteran help to relieve that burden. In any case, I'm holding my expectations at arm's length. There'll be a great number of adjustments to be forthcoming in 2023. I expect a tougher climb than ever to the playoffs, if it's even in the cards. Baby steps.
