I made this reply on another board and thought I'd share it here, in case anyone was interested in the weak arguement that "Romo didn't do anything special, it was against a Tampa Bay defense" arguement....

This is yet another weak arguement. How have opposing QB's fared against Tampa?

McNair: 1 TD, 0 INT, 181 yards, 63% completion rate
Vick: 1 TD, 1 INT, 91 Yards, 66.7% completion rate
Delhomme: 1 TD, 0 INT, 272 Yards, 61.1% completion rate
Brees: 1 TD, 0 INT, 171 Yards, 63.6% completion rate
Palmer: 1 TD, 0 INT, 261 Yards, 64.9% completion rate
McNabb: 3 TD, 3 INT, 302 Yards, 62.9% completion rate
Manning (Eli): 1 TD, 0 INT, 154 Yards, 51.6% completion rate
Brees: 3 TD, 0 INT, 314 Yards, 75% completion rate
Delhomme: 2 TD, 1 INT, 240 Yards, 64.7% completion rate
Campbell:2 TD, 0 INT, 196 Yards, 55.9% completion rate

Then there is Romo's performance....

5 TD, 0 INT, 306 Yards, 75.9% completion rate.

Where does that rank against the aforementioned QB's and their performances against Tampa...?

TB does have a poor pass defense. But Zona, Colts, and in particular Carolina have pretty good pass defenses. And Romo has had no issue when he's faced these teams.

I know Tampa's pass defense isn't stellar. That wasn't my counterarguement. My point was that look at how opposing QB's did against Tampa....and then look at how Romo played.

Where does Romo's performance compare against them? I'd say #1. That is impressive.
