Bye bye Wilson and Fields

We could still trade up. Which we should consider.

In general, if you have a single-digit pick, you should think about a quarterback. Otherwise you will need to have another bad season in order to get that high again.

This cowboys team is going to be out of position for either of those two QB’s.

that’s going to change the dynamic a bit I’m afraid.

because I do like Both of them.
Better QBs on the 2nd tier anyways like Feleipe Frank's or Dustin Crum. Fields and Wilson are overhyped.

I don’t like either enough to spend a high first on
But I didn’t think Dak would be as good as he has been either so maybe my QB opinions are flawed lol

New to this board so not sure why anyone would be up for replacing a 27-year-old known leader and playmaker like Dak for an unknown, even if it is Lawrence. Believe it or not but Lawrence could be a bust - there are more like him that are busts than those that take a team to a championship. Instead of giving up the farm for an unknown, why not harp on signing Dak instead?

Lawrence - Out of our reach for trade up possibilities so just forget him
Fields - Likely top 5 but not worth trading up for imo
Lance - Has been compared to Dak by some and likely a top 10 pick or could even fall right in our lap the way Lamb did
Trask - Likely 10-15 range for not being as mobile but could go higher with his stellar play against SEC teams
Wilson - I really like the kid and thinking 15-20 range maybe higher, but shoulder needs to be completely checked out
Jones - likely 2nd rounder who drops on boards due to being surrounded by so much talent
Crum - likely 3rd round pick for this interesting prospect with potential

@CATCH17 has been right about Fields. Dude is overrated and been folding in big games. Fortunately, his team is always supremely talented compared to the team they are up against.

I'll go a step further and say that Dak is better than Fields is. Ignore recruiting "rankings".

Still on the Kyle Trask train if Daks agent still wants to play super hardball.

ummm.... because the “proven leader” is just above average and has shown he’s only about the money (wants 40 million/y ) which would guarantee we remain mediocre?

I hope that’s clear enough
