Hopefully, I like Ron Washington and if I blame anybody it's more on Jon Daniels.

I don't know MLB/Rangers like the NFL, but this is what it seems like.

Daniels won the power struggle with Ryan, who later left for Houston. Ryan seems to know players pretty well, and the recent ride of the Rangers seems to confirm it. Daniels is a sabermetrics guy - I like that approach too, but while I prefer his philosophy better, the Rangers dive the past couple of seasons has been with him clearly in charge. It looks like Ryan was better in finding and retaining talent. The injuries might help Daniel's case, but it looks like the wrong man left the Rangers.

Who was really making the decisions? They all had input, but who was making the final calls on which players. I'm sure they all agreed on some choices. They probably all agreed that they couldn't afford the money to keep Josh Hamilton for example.

They were working together three years ago for sure, but Ryan was definitely out of the picture the past two seasons.

Letting Hamilton leave I'm sure was a unanimous decision...hot/cold performance with personal issues and big contract demands.

I'm feeling around - don't know enough to rant on any of the Rangers.
