Bye Week Games Thread

There's a lot of stupid in that post.

But insulting someone means you're smart? Okay, sure. Which parts? The part about continuing to do what had been successful to that point? The part about not assuming that a different, so-called safer, course of action would yield a better result? Enlighten me.

Wow what happened in the TB and SF game. Did not expect to see 48-3.

SF just owned them. Everything they did worked. TB could never get on track.

Niners are a better team than given credit for. I wouldn't be surprised if they wind up winning that division.

True, and they seem to be getting better every week. That said, I think TB is overrated as well. But still, to completely throttle a team like that is impressive.

If anything... I am VASTLY underrated...

Alex Smith's stat line was pretty bad, to be honest. 11/19 for 180 yards. 3 TDs, sure, but still.

Green Bay really misses Nick Collins.

Isn't that the truth. Although that TD play was interesting. Woodson followed White across the field, then completely lost his depth. Not sure if that was because of the "pick", or Woodson just lost him.

I haven't watched a whole lot of GB this year, and I know there's talk of Woodson not being that great in coverage anymore. Is that really the case?

Yes it is... he is getting away with murder given his status... it's sickening...

He threw a punch or two in week one, in front of multiple referees, no ejection.

I did see that, and I'm surprised he didn't get ejected as well. My question, though, was more toward his overall level of play, especially in coverage. He's a great blitzer, but how has he been on the back end?

Yeah he's definitely lost a step. He's still a terrific corner, but not near the player he was in Oakland or his first year in GB.

I don't care to see GB just march through the league, but as Cowboy fans, wouldn't it be better if the Falcons lost this game?

Why can't the Cowboys beat the Packers? They're like the NFC version of the Patriots. Great quarterback, very explosive offense, but a pretty bad defense.
