Chuck Cecil shows official who's No. 1

Posted by Mike Florio on October 3, 2010 1:52 PM ET

Titans defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil took exception to a penalty thrown against the Tennessee defense for encroachment.

Per a league source who was watching the game (and various Twitter users who have commented on it), Cecil gave the middle finger to an official. The image was caught the live broadcast of the game.

UPDATE: A reader has sent in a screen shot of the incident. Cecil should protect that hand for the rest of the game; he'll need it to write a check.

Should that not have been an intentional grounding on Brees?

Damnit Buffalo just give it to Spiller in open space and see what he can do with the ball. Don't try to act like you have an actual football team by giving it to guys that don't matter like Lynch and Jackson.

Good call by the refs, the ball was in the air and the db was trying to make a play.

Saw that T.O highlight and he's still an idiot. Hate when people do stuff like that.

Way to go browns, i want to see the bengals fail so we can see T.O and Ocho implode.

Helmet to helmet hit by Harrison on McGahee causes a fumble.

Penalty not called by the zebras. No surprise.

Legal per Simms. My bad.

Ryan Clark hits Houshmensada in the head twice on the same play. Flag comes out. Should be first and goal at the five but Ed Hoculi talks him out of it. No Flag! Surpise Surprise. Ravens have to settle for FG.:bang2:
