Whoa -- I'm relieved, to say the least, that Jones' injury isn't considered too serious. Losing him would be something that I'd really hate to see happen to an obviously talented rookie with his potential. Whew!

To me, this has always been the #1 story of every training camp/preseason since I've been a fan. Teams' seasons can be completely sidetracked before it even begins due to injury.

To me, this has always been the #1 story of every training camp/preseason since I've been a fan. Teams' seasons can be completely sidetracked before it even begins due to injury.

Fans walk on eggshells during the entire preseason hoping their top players especially those that will be a significant contribution to the team no matter if they are a vet or a rookie. I think the NFL themselves know this which is why they always talk about have less preseason games.
