Hadn't seen this posted anywhere: he had 12 tackles (11 solo) that led the team - including the game saving tackle on Antonio Brown. If you recall, Ben threw it short and Brown was in the open field with a head of steam. Jones used the sideline as a 12th defender and stopped him. With both hands in the air like Ali, he celebrated. Game over.

Best safety we've had since Woody. Props to Byron Jones.

Not taking away from his performance

But he didn't do anything at the end of the game...there were 8 other guys there to make the play had he not

Needs to start making game changing plays.
Progrssing well.

Quite simply though he cannot ***** up that fumble recovery . it's football basics 101 . secure the ball. too busy thinking glory 6pointer. it's not just him. it's happened too many times this year to numerous players on D

Byron Jones knows that if he doesn't scoop and score he has to read all over CowboysZone tomorrow how he doesn't make enough plays.

If he came up with that fumble early in the game it would have been huge.

Agreed!

Jones Brown Dlaw Collins (hopefully J Smith) good foundation for a Defense, couple more players in the front 7 and we're rocking!
