not sure what the point is of throwing a negative comment at him. Guy has done nothing wrong while being a Cowboy and honesty was treated badly moving back & forth from Safety to corner at the start of his career. He has always seemed like a good guy and is now trying to help some of the young guys coming into the league.

Great advice. There are players who made over $100M in their careers and have nothing to show for it. It won't last forever. Make it last the rest of your life and your kids lives (and ideally their kids too)

Coaches are around to give the same advice but rookies may be prone to heed another player better.

By and large, it also depends on the attitude of the individual rookie being told to pay heed or not.
