Byron Jones was toast tonight

Didn’t look like there was a S anywhere to help. Aren’t they supposed to patrol deep when you play soft like that? BJ was defending like he thought he had help behind them.

He’s situationally dumb.

He made the same costly mistake in the playoff loss against the Packers. His eyes were trained on Aaron Rodgers instead of getting depth which would have eliminated the throwing window to the TE.

He’s got to know the Seahawks needed big chunks of yardage and fast which means your priority needs to be on Lockett going deep. Instead, he’s looking at Wilson worried about him scrambling.

Seriously. Pathetic defensive display by him. Looked like the safety version of Jones. Trailing guys all night, especially that last drive
Lockett made him look below average. Luckily our front 7 were hitting home runs.

Byron got distracted by the TE, and Lockett's route was good...the play design. But, #31 just messed up, again.
