They absolutely would have been the number one seed in the West had they won. This, IMO, is the right thing to do. If anything, BYU cost themselves a considerable amount of money had they looked the other way. I think the right thing was done here.

Everything else aside, I promise you they wouldn't have lost that much money.

I also can tell you that there is literally no way they would have looked the other way.

You are proof that you can disagree with someone's beliefs and still respect them for it.

You know I don't agree with women being forced to wear veils. I don't agree with labeling people as untouchables. I don't agree with eating dogs as a food staple. I don't agree with shunning electricity and cars in favor of 19th Century lifestyles. And many other things that people in other cultures do.

But I will always respect other people's beliefs and cultures. Especially when they don't just say what they believe, but make honest efforts to live it too.

I do not respect cultures that do not respect their women.
