This place will blow up if we trade our first rounder next year. It's not happening.

Like the players, but you essentially gave up a first round pick for what would be our fourth or fifth receiving option.

I would find a way to get to Valley Ranch and retire Jerry.

You don't trade next year's first for the second to last pick of the second round. That is fireable.

If moving up for a CB last year was questioned, moving up for a freakin' guard this year would be a good excuse for the type of profanity resulting in mass banning.

I like cooper and hunter. Don't really care for the rest of the draft. I will cry if we trade next years one. Don't fail me now Stephen.

Let me explain my reasoning.

I think it is inevitable that at some point we will be having a Indianapolis post Manning season. We are tied to some aging players like Romo, Ware and Witten. Yes we have some solid young players but my thinking is we MUST make as big an impact as we can in the draft this year.

When it comes to the player that will have the biggest impact on our team I feel that player is Cooper.

Improvement on the OL is the most crucial ingredient for us winning. And despite the changes on defense if this team is going to take the next step it will be because of the offense.

This draft gives us a starting G or C. A WR that can replace Dez or Austin outside...all of our other WRs are smallish. A back to pair with Murray and a blocking TE that is basically a more athletic OT. And another RT to push Parnell or Free.

Defense was addressed as well, with good value.

You simply don't trade the future for a guard.

Period.

You truly are a blind zebra! :D

Just kidding! I see your reasoning but I would not have the nerve to do it. Way to think out of the box, though!

The 2013 NFL Draft Class is expected to be one of the worst in a long while.

And not only do you want to trade up but also trade away the 2014 1st rd pick. :)

How bad is this draft? Some consider OT Eric Fisher as the top pick. A guy who hardly anyone has ever seen play. There is not much difference between the top 10 players and the bottom 10 players in the 1st rd.

One of the worst? lol, just because there is no premier WR/QB doesn't mean this will be one of the worst. We have no way of knowing how these players will pan out on draft day, so relax with that statement. To the OP, you are joking about trading the 1 right?? :lmao2: The only situation where they would trade 2014's 1 would be to jump up high in the 1st round, not trade it for pretty much a 3rd round pick.. HAHA
