C BRANDON FUSCO, SLIPPERY ROCK JOURNAL 3 – JANUARY 17, 2011
Dear Journal,
Note, keep your eye on this kid, he is one of my pet cats;
The past two weeks I have been training in Bradenton, Florida at IMG Sports Academy. My head strength coach is former LSU assistant and director at App State Jeff Dillman.

In training I worked out with the OL coach Tom Nutten. He played for the Bills and Broncos. I work my pass sets and more knee bend. I also work on using my hands and a more explosive punch. Just getting becoming more fluent in my run blocking and power steps so I can use it in the game. I feel like I have made tremendous improvements in my technique and I think I’m a whole different player right now. We do combine stuff everyday like one day we will do the 40, the 3-cone another day, the shuttle, etc. but right now we are mainly focusing on the Senior Bowl and when I come back from the Senior Bowl I will focus on those drills and the positional drills at the Combine.
Some guys who are here are the RB from Kentucky, Anthony Castonzo from Boston College, the receiver from Indiana, Mark Herzlich from Boston College, and some others.
Right now I am weighing around 303. We have a nutritionist here and I am trying to get my body fat down as low as I can. I have been eating healthy and watching what I eat.
