Sunday's game will define the season

Remember when we beat the Texans and everything was good? Did the season turn around as many thought it would? No single win or loss has defined this team in over a decade, and tomorrow's win/loss will be the same. This is what happens to a team wth no identity and no leadership. You can call me Mr.Negative, just don't call me late for dinner

Over the past few years, one of the only real pleasures I take when watching the Cowboys' many let downs is seeing the rage on the faces of Ol Sour face and his Useless Son seated in their luxury suite.

I've been a loyal fan for many years, but if I can no longer celebrate success on the field, I'll take the next best thing- table slamming rage.

With that said, I still have hope that the team returns to its winning tradition.

I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll be able to witness it before being called to the lonesome valley.

I agree, I hate to see Dallas lose especially when I feel they have beaten themselves. But when they suffer a loss , I see those shots of Ol Sour face and son up in the sky box. They look dejected and I can't tell a lie ,I grin a little seeing Ol Sour face unhappy. I very much want to see Dallas reach championship heights however. Long time loyal fan since 1973, GO COWBOYS.

I realize that it wouldn’t be the end of the season if they lose. I have no clue how the locker room is so it’s just a hunch that if they play poorly, they may lose the players. But who knows.
And they might. I just think fans get too caught up in what might be. Maybe that's because I've tried to retrain myself to live in the moment. Too many years of looking at games from the viewpoint of what does it mean about our chances to make the playoffs and win a Super Bowl. That kept me from enjoying victories and being able to lay aside losses.

I don't view this as a defining game, just another game. Eventually, we'll reach the point where it is either do or die, but there's been talk about that among fans since the first game of the season. I mean, some counted us out as soon as the defense looked as bad as last year's version.

I'll either enjoy this game ... or I won't. Win or lose, then the next game becomes THE game that defines our season until we're either in the playoff picture or we're eliminated from it.

I’ll predict now that there will be a ‘this weeks game decides the season’ thread going into Monday against Philly.

Honestly the division is so bad this year 9 wins may take it. Unless NY goes on a significant win streak, which they do have 4 upcoming winnable games, this division should be competitive until the end.
Without Hurts, I like the Cowboys chances against the Eagles, this Green Bay game Sunday night it would be sweet to get a win. Dallas is due to beat the Packers, It would be nice to see Dallas start Sunday night quickly on offense. And go on a nice winning streak, I think this team has the talent ,this Green Bay game is personal. Dallas has not beat the Packers since 2016.

Yes sir, it can be very frustrating being a Cowboys' fan for as long as we have.

But most of us are here for the long haul.

Up or down--Thin or flush.

:starspin:

Talk about a huge game for the coaching staff. They’re all on the hot seat and the reasons are obvious. They’ve brought in a proven defensive coordinator to help out CP. The players have been accused of lack of effort. A players only meeting was held to address the issues. Jerry’s pissed. The players are pissed and the fans are pissed.

If the team comes out flat and loses then the season is going to be hard to salvage.

If the team comes out swinging in all 3 phases, shows some life, shows some physicality and establishes an identity, then maybe they have a chance to salvage the season.

A season defining game.
I wish your post could be read to the team before the game, bro.

Here's hoping for a big win at Lambeau field Sunday night, I think this team is talented on both sides of the ball. And I am surprised by this 2 and 3 start, Prescott will need to get the ball out quickly. No doubt Green Bay will be blitzing after what Tampa Bay was able to do to Prescott, they hurried Dak and was able to get pressure on him .Offensively Dallas needs a quick start and hopefully score touchdowns early.

Dallas can absolutely come back from 2-4 in this NFCEast. This game is far from definitive.

Rockport you gotta stop being so negative. This is Cowboyszone not anti-Cowboyszone.
For a lot of us it’s the realism zone. How you can not be negative after 30 years and seeing the current product Jerry is running out there is baffling.

He’s stealing money from fans and it’s embarrassing. But good for you if you can run with it. You are a lot better than some of us.
