We could have never had Warford. He wasn't on their draft board because they deemed he did not fit their offensive scheme.

But 48 year old, out of shape Brian Waters fit the scheme? Don't buy into whatever nonsense Jerry and his Goons throw at you to make their choices seem more sane. Playing guard really ins't that complicated and Warford had more than enough qualifications to do the job.
That was a rant in general by the way. Not at you, wasn't trying to shoot the messenger.

I wasn't mad about taking Fredrick in the first round because i & most fans knew this team needed O line help inthe worse way.
Could we have gotten T Fred inthe 2nd?? Maybe but the way OLineman were getting snatched up before our pick, Coaching staff wasn't taking any chances and actually got this pick right IMO.

Think about both of those statements for a moment and compare them to "Did not allow a single sack all season". Now think about how Tony's year ended.

There may be something to that, but before the draft Broaddus claimed that Callahan didn't think he could play in his zone blocking scheme. The guy is considered a phone booth power player.

Wouldnt have mattered if these guys were on the team. Dallas wouldnt have had any passrush with injuries so these two wouldve gotten ruled busts by week 10

Well, this site, for some reason, does not have a search function that I know of.
But, when Fredbeard was first drafted I knew nothing about the man. But, I did know the Cowboys needed help on the oline and when he was drafted I really liked it. However...when I saw one of his first interviews where he said something like, "now I get to beat people up legally on the field"....I really, really liked the pick!
I saw that dude block his man and then another LB in the same play. I saw him knock his man into a LB several plays taking two guys out! Plus, the man is educated, smart....but nasty all at the same time.
Two more like him and Tyron and this line is set for a long time.
