Well, after my dead on ( lucky) prediction that Billy the Kid Cundiff would get axed the day after Christmas, I have to have a prediction for this weekends games, even though I am probably just setting myself up for the kill. I have though, in my defense, read mega articles, looked at 100's of predictions by the so-called experts( even though my top 5 in my ESPN Football league are better than 99% of them). The positives are that both our teams are at home.
Prediction One- I just cannot see the Eagles winning on Sunday. They do have a pretty decent D, but I just don't believe they have enough offensive weapons to win. I hope I am wrong on this one.
Prediction Two - Man, this game is tough. What has happened to the Falcons? They are pretty solid on both sides of the ball, but just have not delivered this season. The Falcons will play hard, have the revenge factor and have had the Panthers number the last few years. I like Delohme, but he is was better last year. I think it comes down to the RB situation...for both teams. Foster saus he is going to play, but will he be 100%, if not, they may have to also play Goings, who sprained hi leg today and that is a negative for Carolina. On the other side, Dunn is KEY to an Atlanta victory and he is nicked up pretty bad.
Foster was the key to game 1 as he rushed for 130+ and caught a pass for a TD. Vick had a poor game with 0 TD and 2 INT's and was sacked 5 times.
Deangelo Hall will not play and that hurts. Atlanta is 4-3 at home, Carolina is 5-3 away, not bad.
Dunn gets 150+ all -purpose yards, Atlanta wins, if not, they lose.
