Banks is a DT, and according to you we don’t draft D early anyway, so I suppose we don’t have to worry about it.

In all seriousness, I’m 100% for drafting IDL day 1 or 2. Recent picks suggest the team isn’t against going that way (far from it).
In saying that, depending how the RB room works out this year, Jeremiyah Love of Notre Dame would be my 1st rounder if he’s there when we’re on the clock.

I'm with you, by all means go draft a DT in the 1st. However, the last two season the Cowboys needed a NT and a RB, and they chose not to address those positions properly because they don't value those positions.

They drafted Booker and Ez. Nothing wrong with the players they drafted. Walter Nolen is not looking good either.

Banks is good off the ball and likes to get up field by splitting defenders, he is to tall to play 1-tech. He has problems with his pad level. He is best as a 3-4 5-tech. That is how Florida is playing him in their 3-4 defense. He might be able to anchor as a 1-tech in this defense, but I would look at shorter players with burst, around 315-320lbs; just fits the defensive model better. Ravens would love this guy.
