Twitter: Caleb Downs has been a nightmare for the offense

The 1st rep was the receiver stumbling, not really Downs doing work.

2nd rep was a really nice run stuff, he read and reacted like a linebacker there.

3rd rep started off as great man coverage, he saw that CeeDee wanted outside leverage and pressed him all the way to the sideline to deny it. But then he had to commit PI to keep CeeDee outside, once Dak scrambled and CeeDee wanted to break back in. At the NFL level, PI is just as bad as giving up the completion.

4th rep, was that just CeeDee dropping the ball?

IDK man... I am not seeing Ed Reed stuff there.

It’s read and react and disguising intention so the QB gets mixed up.

Those are where the Rees comp came from.

It’s about five years too soon to seriously be talking about Reid

Excited to finally see him play in meaningful games. That being said, Ed is indeed the standard, so let's hold off on comparisons. Troy P is there as well, but until Tiny Caleb gets his own Head and Shoulders commercial featuring Patty, I'm not buying in
