Good question, but I am wondering if it was something Downs regretted saying after the fact. That may have prompted him to take the post down. Or if someone else disagreed with him posting whatever was said. I will not lie that my greater interest now is in the latter if that was the case.

I don’t doubt that he had second thoughts. It sounds like it might have been singling out the Giants for passing twice on him… which someone thought wasn’t a great idea.
