Controversial or not, something motivated the taking down of the post. That is always the case with social media.

Unfortunately, nothing stays truly a secret on the internet after-the-fact. I would not define my personal curiosity as controversy-based. It is more a matter of just wanting to know why.

And that's the way I took it.

My remark about controversy was just that I personally didn't see a reason to take it down.

Just yesterday I read these words from someone talking about tweeting miscues and the ramifications. "It's not the tweet, it's the delete".

I thought that might apply to this situation. The delete causes more speculation/controversy than the tweet would have.
