You thought Jahvid Best was special? Jeff Tedford may be known as a quarterbacks' coach (despite QBs like Harrington and Boller), but his secret is his ability to recruit at the Running Back position.
The subject of my profile pic, and my crush for this year - Shane Vereen. Shane carried the ball 42 times against Stanford, and his 193 yards (and 3 TDs) carried Cal to victory. He is the #1 back this year, having already taken those duties last year when Best went down for the season.
Watch this guy run. He's amazing.
