Call it a gut feeling...

i think we'll win this one rather easily! Against the Eagles i thought we would have a typically bad day, and unfortunately that was true. In this game, i think we'll play consistently and with a very business-like attitude. Everybody just doing their job and making the plays that need to be made. For instance I predict... Julius Jones goes over 100. Bledsoe gets sacked 3 times, but no fumbles or picks. Ware gets two sacks. TO breaks off a big play - call it 40 yards. And the offensive line does a good job - good enough to win. I see it as Cowboys 27 Giants 16. Oh - all those in favor of Tiki retiring today raise your hand...

I'd like to Ware help Tiki along with his retirement plans :)

A solid hit that convinces him to appear on Fox permenantly starting say..Tuesday morning.

didnt blesdoe go last game with no picks?

if so there is no way possible I see him doing that two games in a row.

easily?....I don't think so...this is going to be a dogfight. NY specializes in putting pressure on the QB, but they have a suspect secondary. If we can protect Bledsoe, we'll be fine...if they get pressure on him, we're done.

Our defense has to make stopping the NFL's leading rusher its top priority, which will probably mean Eli will have time to survey the field ... our secondary will have to blanket their receivers because if we make pressuring Eli our top priority, Tiki Barber will break some long runs on us.

We're going to have to play much better at home against the Giants than we did last week against the Texans.

Our run defense has been pretty good this year, but against the not so best rushing attacks except maybe Westbrook. But he's more of a threat in the short passing game against us than running.

I'm not sure how Atlanta's run defense is, and Tiki got 185 yards on them, But his longest run was 29 yards. And most of his run were up the middle. I think we are pretty good up the middle. So it won't be so easy for him. Watch for the outside runs, that is where he may break a long one. He usually does against us.

I have a gut feeling this will not be an easy win by any means with DB at the helm.

I agree...if we cant run the ball well we're in huge trouble with Bledsoe

I hope u are right, however we can also lose it too with TO frustrated and shouting on the sideline. I Imagine the fan booing Bledsoe and Tony replacing him and doing no much.anything can happen. We're going to have to be on top of our game. It's going to be another difficult one.The game outcome will tell us if the cowboys are contenders or pretenders .let's hope we take care of business and win it. it is about time we beat a good team.

Oh Geeeez, Here we go again.:bang2:

Won't you guys ever learn. I mean I love the optimism, but EASY ???? vs The Gints???? The Cowboys this year????:banghead:

The O-line better bring their A game if we are going to win this one.

If we can control the running game I think we got it in the bag because even as good as NY's offense is our defense will keep us in the game.

Drew is bound to throw a pick or 4 Monday night so we need the O-line and J.J. to overcome our inability to protect/beat the blitz.

Seriously though, if we could just beat a blitz (and I mean beat it for 6 points with a long yardage score) I think they may get gun shy trying to send the house every other play. The problem is we have yet to make a team pay for blitzing us.

Bledsoe will be fine if he only pats the ball once not twice.

:hammer: Truer words were never spoken. We need to burn them big-time on a blitz play on national TV so the rest of the league can take note that sending the house against the 'Boyz offense ain't necessarily such a good thing.

....end of story...

I really don't have a good feeling about this game, seeing as we're talking about gut feelings. It's the same feeling I had going into the Philadelphia game.

The Giants are a very good football team. On top of that, our team likes to come out flat in big games. Come out flat in this game and we'll not be coming back, the Giants can score a lot of points. Even if we were to come out and post a 14-21 point lead early, the Giants have shown the ability to score a lot of points in a short period of time, so we have to play all game, something we seem to also have trouble doing.
