Call it now! When do the Colts lose? Or do they go 19-0?

I brought this topic up over a month ago, (http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39642&page=1&pp=15&highlight=colts) but honestly, with today's watered down league, I thought they would have lost at least one game by now. It looks like the Colts are a legit contender for the undefeated crown. So what do you say? Are they going all the way? Undefeated only in the regular season? Are they losing next week? Call it now!

It wouldn't shock me if they lost 2 of their next 3.

San Diego needs this game and the Colts are already talking about resting some defensive players.

If SD beats them, Sorgi will see more time than Manning for the rest of the year.

I think they go 19-0. Nobody in this league can hang with them unless they beat themselves.

I think they lose the Seattle game. Seattle is a good team, and will be playing hard in that game.

Dungy has said he will play his starters this week against San Diego (so it will be a win for the Colts), but he wouldn't against Seattle. Backups at QB, RB, and WR won't be able to beat an at home Seattle team that needs the win.

If they played their starters? They'd probably go 19-0.

It may be the BEST thing for the Colts to lose a game NOW before playoffs begin...(get it out of the way) didnt Yephremium(sp?) almost blow the Superbowl for the Dolphins in their undefeated season LOL

Winning SuperBowl should be more important than going undefeated... I would think that is what Peyton is thinking... JMO

They have had a favorable schedule. Most of the teams they have played have had losing records. With the exception of Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Jacksonville. The Patriots I beleive were 4-4 when they played them, but they are a diffrent team than last year.

If they can get through week 15 against the bolts, and 16 against the hags. Then I don't think Arizona stands a chance against them unless the colts just self destruct due to pressure. We have seen this before against the pats in the playoffs. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Colts go 19-0.

Peyton is a great competitor, to think that he will take the mindset, oh, we've clinched homefield advantage so going undefeated isnt as important as winning superbowl - i dont see that happening.

He knows this team has a chance to do something special, something that will put a stamp on them as being one of the best NFL teams to ever take the field. As leader of this team i'm sure he has got everyone fired up about that, they will not have any letdowns.

Truthfully, i think there have only been a few games where he has even had to step up and take the team on his shoulders and win the game with a come back. so i would even say that the colts have yet to play their best football.

I voted they will lose in the playoffs. I have a feeling the pressure of having an undefeated season will cause a crucial breakdown during the playoffs.

I can see that happening and I wouldnt be suprised if it was to the Patriots.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
I like the Colts, always have. I lived in Indy for a while, great city, a lot of fun.
So I hope they do this, unless they are playing us in the SB
The only other thing, I am also a Bengals fan, since I grew up near Cincy. But always been a Cowboys fan #1 over the Bengal.
That would have been a dream SB, when the Bengals could have played the Cowboys, but that stupid play called "The Catch" ruined it.

Any way, Chad Johnson guarenteed a Bengal victory ove rhte Colts if they meet for the AFC Champiinship. I just heard a quick comment on it, not sure of the exact quote.

So that will be a tough one to root for, because I want the Colts to do this to shut up the Dolphins and their fans. I lived near West Palm Beach for 14 years, and their fans are horrible and arrogant about this.

I think the Colts will go 16-0 this year. But I think they can be beat in the playoffs.

The Pats have always had their number till this year. But the Pats are looking better and better every game and will be a much better team if they meet in the playoffs.

The last time the Colts played the Steelers Big Ben was coming of missing a number of games and was rusty. The Steelers were very much in that game till about the last quarter. If the Steelers meet with the Colts again they face a more ready Big Ben which is not good.

The Bengals nearly beat the Colts. Again if they meet in the playoffs this is a team that could beat the Colts.

I do not see any NFC team beating the Colts except Dallas. Reason is this. Our defense is the one defense that could caus them problems.

T-New is the one CB who could shut down Marv Harrisoon 1-1. A healthy Henry is a good match up for Wayne.

Cuz of our CBs Roy Williams would be able to play close to the line and cause all kindsa problems.

Peyton Manning is not hard to rattle. Our defense could rattle him.

The problem is I do not think we can get to the Super Bowl this year.

I want to go along with all you post BUT I Think Peyton could expose with the BIG PLAY... lesser QB's have... we would still have a chance to win game I believe but not without the BIG PLAY Heartattack during game LOL

They lose in the playoffs to become the NFL's biggest joke in history. I can't really explain it but they don't match up well with Denver (if they meet them) and their nemesis the N.E. Patriots are getting healthy.....
