To be the best you have to beat good teams . I'd rather play Seattle or Gb @ dallas . If we knock one out immedietatly we'll probably make the nfc championship . I'm not affraid of Seattle at all . Their offense sucks .

I bet they'll get Detroit at home in that Wildcard game.

I think the best path is to avoid the teams with the explosive offenses. Avoid the NFC North. Play the west and south. That's the best path to the Super Bowl.

Am i missing something. GB is some power team? Lost to Bills, Saints, Lions, Seattle. ... struggled against Miami and Tampa.

Our defense allowed 1 yard rushing today and shut down the high flying offense of Luck. Spanked Philly, Saints and Seattle 2 teams that GB lost to.

I'm not scared with the number 1 rushing attack and passing game that can put up points quick.

Every team in the NFC is scared to play Dallas in the playoffs

I have you beat. I saw them beat Minnesota in 1996. :p

I am trying to avoid G.B., but its looking more likely we either have to face them at home during the wild card, or up at their place if we make it next round.

Yikes.

Our first playoff game will be aganist a good team regardless, most likely a 10 win team. I believe our offense can match good against any team in the league. Our D is what is leaky and good for 2 quarters of play.

It's not crazy if you would rather face them in Dallas or Lambeau. Might as well get it over with because it will be an easier task to win in Detroit.

If you gotta play both teams, anyway, to get where you want to go, you might as well play them where you're most likely to beat them. The goal isn't to have the easiest first game in the playoffs. It's to have the easiest path to the Superbowl. You can't get to the Superbowl without beating the best teams, anyway.

i agree i think we'll beat GB by 10+ @ home . Give me Green bay we'll dominate the trenches. I don't get the love for their pass happy ***** …. finese team we'll bust them in the mouth. Grow a pair were more physical.

You see what happens when GB plays physical teams, Lions, Seattle and Bills are physical. GB lost those games and struggled with others

With Seattle at home playing the Rams next week, looks like they got the number one seed locked up................the Rams lost to the Giants today, don't see them going into Seattle and winning next week.

So that means we get the loser of Green Bay and Detroit next week..................The winner takes the NFC North and the #2 seed and the loser makes the trip to Dallas for WC weekend.

Ironically, if we win that game we then travel to either Green Bay or Detroit in the Divisional round.

So we are pretty much locked into Detroit and Green Bay as our first two playoff opponents and the order in which we play them will be determined by who wins or loses next week.............but we have to play them both it looks like.

Hmmm, interesting. I guess the OP wasn't so far off then.

Honestly, I don't really care. We just need to beat whoever is put in front of us. In the playoffs, no opponent is easy and anybody can lose. Getting caught up in where we play, or who we play, is really irrelevant. They're all gonna be tough

Though it would've been sweet to get the NFCS 'winner'

First, we probably have no choice....
Second, there is no unbeatable teams in this tourney... Seattle is the best, and we beat them.

Every likely scenario has it that way, which is fine with me.

I am envious of the top seed who draws the winner of Arizona and the NFC South champion.

Basically that is a ticket to the NFCCG.

But correct me if the ESPN generator is wrong, Dallas can get the two seed if the Cardinals lose and the Rams upset the Seahawks (assuming the Packers win).

That means the Lions and then the Seahawks at home. I will take that.

If anyone wants the Packers so bad, play them in the title game for old time's sake.

Call me crazy, but I would rather play the Packers over the Lions. The Lions have a physical defense and megatron. That being said, if the Boys bring their A game, they can go toe to toe versus anybody.
