But if we get in a pinch, how much would T.O. be worth for vet minimum? And if Austin or Dez were out for a season, would you consider bringing him in on a 1 year, minimal basis?

Yes. And desperate for a Wide Receiver! I know it's a silly question. But you really never know with our owner. I think even if Dez went down with a season ending injury, we'd look elsewhere. But I think T.O. could be ok if he knew he was on a short leash. A lot of times people are humbled at 40. The guy has had some rough times and lost his swagger because of his money issue.

My thinking though is that he would do something stupid to try to gain fame while sacrificing some element of the team.

So, my answer would be no... But I'd have to at least consider the option if my team was banged up. I'd have to consider a what if scenario: where I was allowed to sign him to a 1mil contract for 1 year with the option of letting him go.

I'm not sure what his contract would be, but watching the Romo video with T.O. was really watching some of the best WR/QB footage I've ever seen.

I love Romo, he clicks with Austin and Dez. But man, he clicked with T.O. Crayton, Witten and company.
 
We just finally cleared out the guys that were siding with TO after he split and left the locker room divided, and there are people out there that actually want him back?

Man.. The season can't start soon enough so maybe some of these threads over the last few weeks won't be posted on here.

T.O. couldn't get any team to give him a job last year and ended up playing arena football. Then he couldn't hold down that job. And Owens was part-owner of that team!!!!!!!

He's a hated cancer. He almost landed in jail this summer for not paying child support. He's a spare. He's older than dirt.

i'm ready for t.o. right now. let bygones be bygones. it's time to come full circle and finish the job from 2007.

TO gathered a cabal of players and attempted to undermine Garrett with accusations of racism. He accused Garrett, Romo and Witten of being a racist cabal themselves.

Might as well talk about whether unassisted flight was worth it.

Yeah, it was a stupid thought. I remember the time he cried and said, "This is my quarterback. Why are you doing this to me?"

Plus, the guy is old. We have a better shot of winning in the future if we let the young guys play.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but can you provide some proof of these racism accusations?
 
Just a heads up: I only bring this up because I think T.O. can be had for really cheap with no real obligations to keep him. The upside of that is, if he needs the money as badly as he says, he plays hard to earn it. The downside is he could take the money and run.

No doubt he can still play physically. It's his mental attitude like everyone will point out that deters me from wanting to sign T.O.

I guess I also just thought of it, because I think Jerry thinks of things like this too.

I just don't see him coming back for a second round of abuse unless both receivers get hurt or something.

Stephen Smith claimed it was what TO said even though its hearsay. All reporting is hearsay when it comes down to it. You can choose to believe what you like.

Didn't Broadus write an article about 5 WR's that were on the FA market? Listed their traits and skills.

There was one that seemed intriguing.

I know he said TO and Plax both have separation issues now.

I believe the team needs to bring someone in just because Mr. Hamstring is a train wreck waiting to happen.

But TO, hell no.

Been there, done that, got the disgruntled T-shirt.
