I'm gonna guess you became a Cowboy fan in 2005 and therefore missed Witten's 87 catch 980 yard season with Methusela throwing him the ball and the slow footed Keyshawn on the outside. The almighty T.O. was in Philly for that season.
Witten was a damn good tight end long before Owens graced us with his presence.
When the biggest need for this team is a move to focus on football and team, and playing for each other - I would think a guy like Witten, as professional as it gets, would be a priority to be on the roster. Certainly more of a priority than some wannabe rapper, DMN blogger, immature as my 6 year old Marty B.
