No that wouldn't be crazy, more like idoitic and more stupid than anything Al Davis has done. Bennett may have potential but the key word is may not have.

Witten is a backbone of this team. Bennett is still a loose cannon that could implode at any time.

It doesn't even compute in football sense.

keep in mind t.o had alot to do with wittens success and now that he is gone j.witt will get double coverage most of the time. Don't get me wrong I love witten but i think packaging him and getting a kid like crabtree would'nt be a bad move.

I'm gonna guess you became a Cowboy fan in 2005 and therefore missed Witten's 87 catch 980 yard season with Methusela throwing him the ball and the slow footed Keyshawn on the outside. The almighty T.O. was in Philly for that season.

Witten was a damn good tight end long before Owens graced us with his presence.

When the biggest need for this team is a move to focus on football and team, and playing for each other - I would think a guy like Witten, as professional as it gets, would be a priority to be on the roster. Certainly more of a priority than some wannabe rapper, DMN blogger, immature as my 6 year old Marty B.
