Offense: Dak hits Lamb over the middle but he drops it.

Defense: Brady hits his hand on Parsons helmet. Diggs picks it off. Flag on the play for roughing the passer.

I know it is early, but what is the 1st play from the LOS for the offense. And the defense.
I know the defense will depend on what TB runs, so a pass and a run play from them.

Offense:
They want to make a statement. After Turpin returns the KO to the 40.
They pull Martin to the left side, and Smith, McGovern and Martin block, opening a hole for Zeke. Schultz gets a block downfield, and Zeke goes 60 yards for a TD.

Defense;
Pass play, Micah up the middle for a sack. Maybe even a fumble and recovery.
Run play, stuffed by Gallimore. 1 yard loss.

If the offensive play is typical of this team, Dak will roll right and throw to Schultz on a run fake.

What I would do is start with two tight ends (Schultz and Ferguson), two receivers (Lamb and Pollard) and one back (Elliott), with a tight end on each side of the line and Lamb lined up on the right side. Before the snap, I would motion Schultz to the right side of the line for a stacked formation, then I would send Pollard in motion to the right, fake the jet sweep and pitch back to the left to Elliott against the flow of the play. While all the other linemen block down to the right to sell the fake, Tyler's job would be to quick-punch the defender inside of him and block the defender on the outside edge who should pinch down on the fake. If Tyler makes that block, Elliott should be able to take the edge for a substantial gain and set the tone for what Tampa can expect from our run game, not just trying to hammer it up the middle against an unmovable object.

Defensively, I expect a quick pass from Brady, either an out or slant.

Yes, I spent far too much time dwelling on that first offensive play.

On offense I'm thinking the first playcall will be
2 Scat Pivot dipper Gun Duece Right Slot U right.
Result - 3 step drop to Ceedee for 7 yards

On Defense I'm thinking it will be
Strong Stick 33
Result - drop 8 coverage forcing brading to check down to RB for a 4 yd gain tackle by kearse

Is there any doubt? It will be the play action, reverse boot to hit the crossing TE. Kellen’s favorite, safe play to get something positive.

1st offensive play: Dak rolls right, hits Schultz. Gain of 7.
1st defensive play: run up the middle, 2 yard gain
Now this I like.

Dallas is going to try to let the Bucs know that Dak won't be sitting still. And the Bucs will try to establish the run to let Dallas know Brady is not a target.

One QB can move pretty good and one QB can't. And that's the difference between the two play calls.

Throw the bomb to Mr Lamb...touchdown!

Base defense with Mr Parsons on the blitz...fumble scooped up for a touchdown!

Go big or go home.

Go Cowboys!
