I've seen more than enough of Ball. I don't trust him, especially if God-forbid Peters goes down. I think Isaac Alarcon should be the back up RT instead of Josh Ball. I think I'd prefer to see what he's capable of in a regular season game rather than seeing the walking turnstile that is Josh Ball.

I mean...it can't be worse than what we saw. What the hell

Exactly, and I'd like to see what he can do with game reps. He looked actually decent in the preseason. Better than Josh Ball at least. I know it's not saying much, but I think he's at least better than Josh Ball.

100 % agree ball has been given all the nods since training camp and hasn’t performed. It’s time Cowboys see what they got on Alacron and send message to rest of the locker room that bad play is not going to be accepted forever.

He's a guard

DakAttack time is coming

Maybe, but I think he is right about Alacron. If the Cowboys are willing to give Ball chances, then they should try Alacron. If Ball is good enough to be on the 53, then so is Alacron imo. I thought Alacron was at least better than Ball, and I would say that I trust him to backup Peters more than I do Ball.

That may be, but I still think he's a better option at RT than Ball.

Not only that, but I have no confidence in Ball as a RT if Peters goes down. I'd rather take my chances with Alacron.

That’s why they need to activate him to 53 man roster and cut Ball so he can get back up reps!

Yes, I think Ball was lucky enough to be drafted. However, he was steamrolled today so badly, that they had to have Peters take over at RT. I can't imagine Alacron being worse.

How does calling up a guard have anything to do with Ball at all
I’d be giving Peters RT reps this week

Because, even if he stays at guard, you could move Tyler to RT if Tyron is ready to play and if something happens to Peters.

ah no he can't

To me, it doesn't matter. Worst case scenario, let's assume that Tyron is able to play and that something happens to Peters. Would you rather have Ball or Tyler Smith at RT? I think that we could put Alacron at LG and move Tyler to RT if Peters were to go down. So, in that sense, it is a reasonable option to call up Alacron and send Ball down.
