Call up Alacron and call down Ball

To me, it doesn't matter. Worst case scenario, let's assume that Tyron is able to play and that something happens to Peters. Would you rather have Ball or Tyler Smith at RT? I think that we could put Alacron at LG and move Tyler to RT if Peters were to go down. So, in that sense, it is a reasonable option to call up Alacron and send Ball down.
They're not calling Alacon up, he's stashed for this year because of the NFL exemption, it''ll be put up or move on time for him next year, he doesn't have the footwork to play tackle.

if Tyron Smith can come back, put him at left tackle, Tyler Smith at left guard and Peters at right tackle if Steele can't go

Alternatively, let's assume Tyron can't play and something happens to Peters. We could also move Zach to RT, where he's played before and if we insist on having Tyler at LT or LG. If we do that, then Alacron makes sense at RG. In either case, I think Alacron provides more utility than Ball does.

Yes, but the counterargument to that is that, if Peters goes down, then you likely have Ball at RT. That's not a good option. I'd rather have Zach at RT and Alacron at RG than have Ball replace Peters if Peters gets injured. Essentially, calling up Alacron is an insurance move in case something happens to Peters knowing that Ball is a liability.

when did you guys become offensive line coaches? i remember you guys crying about Cooper Rush. How'd that work out? I think the coaches know the players better than us. sheesh.

McGovern is the left guard then

Because, even if he stays at guard, you could move Tyler to RT if Tyron is ready to play and if something happens to Peters.[/
That may be, but I still think he's a better option at RT than Ball.

Not only that, but I have no confidence in Ball as a RT if Peters goes down. I'd rather take my chances with Alacron.
he couldn’t beat out Collins at guard lol
He sure can’t beat out ball at tackle
He’s still on the roster because he’s exempt
He’s not gonna be called up for anything but training camp next year
And when his exemption is out he’s probably not gonna be here

Some fans do actually think they are smarter than actual nfl coaches
I guess no nfl team has recognized their genius just yet
Same guys complained about extending Armstrong, keeping rush and numerous other decisions they were wrong about

To me, the obvious move is Tyron to left tackle, Tyler to left guard, Peters to RT, and Aviante Collins becomes the swing tackle because he looks like he can pass block at least.

Jason Peters is the RT if Steele is out. The Cowboys are already getting Tyler Smith ready to go back to LG once Tyron is back so I really don't think they want to change Zack Martin's spot or even try to make one of the Smith's switch sides. That complicates too much.

I suppose, but again, I'm just arguing that he could be the fill in guard if we have to move one of our guards to RT.
