I think Jerry has said in the past that he is willing to trade up a good deal in the draft to get a player he considers a playmaker, a difference maker or a WOW player. He did that last year with dez. I think he does it this year with Peterson or possibly Quinn.

So I call it now...Peterson.

Now what do I think will really happen...I think we trade down a few and pick up an OT.

But for now I am singing Peter Gabriel's 80s Hit...Big Time, I'm on my way I'm Making it....Big Time.:laugh2:

drafting Tyron Smith. Smith is already flying up draft boards and is going to continue to rise once he shows up at the Combibe close to or at 300 lbs.

Not a homer pick either. I just have a feeling he's going to go very close to where we are picking and we all know we need O Line help.

Definetely not a homer pick but i just worry about the kind of push he can get on guys in the NFL.


He'll be fantastic as a pass blocker though.

For me I just really like Carimi because he's the all around package IMO.

If Dareus is gone, the Cowboys pick Cameron Hayward DE OSU. Drew Boylhart loves the kid, and thinks he's going to skyrocket up draftboards after the Senior Bowl and Combine. However, if we go Best Player Available, I'd go with Robert Quinn. He looks just like Ware. He'd replace Spencer though, and I don't think we're ready to give up on Spencer. Check out Quinn's vids and tell me he doesn't look exactly like Ware in college. Quinn is the best pass rusher in the ENTIRE draft! He's just too small to be a DE for us.

You haven't been paying attention to some of the crazy picks this team has made in recent years. :laugh2:

Odrick wouldn't have been a bad pick for our spot last year, I think he'll be a player, but you can't pass on Dez there.

Dez, Pouncey, McCourty, Odrick. One of these is not like the other

Peterson, Quinn, Dareus. One of these is not like the other

I also think they will pick Dareus. however, I think by the time April rolls aorund Pouncey could rise very fast due to the combo of center and guard. I thinkk that will appeal to Dallas who most likely will drop davis and seek a future replacement for Gurode. I also think Pittsburgh's Pouncey is boosting the stock of the draft's Pouncey.

Short term Carimi is better for us. Longterm is anyones guess.
